The One-Balm Ritual

Step 1: Cleanse - Massage a small amount of balm onto dry skin to dissolve surface impurities. This is the perfect time to perform a gentle lymphatic facial drainage massage using your hands or a gua sha stone.

Step 2: Exfoliate - Use a warm, damp washcloth to gently lift away debris and sweep away dead cells.

Step 3: Hydrate - Splash or spritz with pure water or keep skin damp from your cloth, hydration is required to unlock the balm.

Step 4: Nourish & Protect - While your skin is still damp, press a final, light layer of the balm onto damp skin to deeply condition and seal your barrier.

We recommend doing this ritual at night, and in the morning, spritzing with water and applying a thin layer of balm for protection and as a makeup primer.

A Note on Application
If your skin feels greasy after applying, it likely means you’ve used too much. Remember, a little goes a long way. Allow your skin to absorb what it needs, then gently blot away any excess with a clean, dry washcloth.

A rich, creamy balm that softens at your touch, Mojave Rain melts effortlessly into the skin. It leaves behind a protective, breathable layer and is deeply moisturizing without a greasy feel, like the quiet nourishment of rain soaking into desert earth.

Directions:

Begin by taking a small amount of balm with clean, dry fingers. Warm it between your hands if needed, then smooth onto clean, slightly damp skin (face or body). A little goes a long way.

For sensitive skin, start gently: perform a patch test first, and during your initial weeks of use, apply only a couple of times per week. Gradually increase as your skin adjusts.

Tallow balm is waterless skincare, highly concentrated, and designed to seal in hydration, rather than provide it. For best results, apply to skin that is dampened with a botanical mist or a warm washcloth. This allows the balm to absorb more deeply, leaving your skin soft, glowing, and beautifully restored.

Please note: When transitioning to tallow-based care, your skin may experience a natural adjustment period that can last a few weeks. Give the balm at least 90 days before evaluating results. Above all, trust your intuition and adjust usage in a way that feels right for your skin.

To keep your balm fresh, always use clean, dry hands or a dedicated spoon to scoop from the jar, and avoid introducing water or moisture. This simple care ensures your balm remains pure and potent.

Because each batch of Mojave Rain is crafted with earth-sourced ingredients, you may notice slight variations in texture, color, or scent.

Your balm may also arrive with either a gold or black metal lid, depending on availability. Small-batch sourcing brings these subtle differences, but the integrity and quality of what’s inside remain unchanged.

At this time, we only ship within the United States. Every order includes tracking, and you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as your package is on the way.

Refunds & Returns

All sales are final. Because every product is handcrafted in small batches, we're unable to offer refunds on any purchases. That said, if we make a mistake - such as sending the wrong item or shipping to the wrong address - we’ll gladly send a replacement to make it right.
